Each month During First Friday Art Walk we host a series of Meet the Author Book Signing Events with complimentary wine & cheese provided by City Walks Food & Wine Tours. This month's event will feature Rosamond Parrish. She has lived in Florida since the early 1960s and is a founding member of the Jacksonville Watercolor Society. She studied watercolor under the instruction of Edgar Whitney and taught painting at the Jacksonville Art Museum, now known as MOCA-Jax. Rosamond released Lincolnville: A Sketchbook Journal of St. Augustine’s Historic Neighborhood in 2012, with original artwork highlighting important events, architecture, and prominent people of the area. In 2020, she published St. Augustine: A Sketchbook which captures the charm of the city’s historic neighborhoods, iconic architecture, and scenic vistas. Currently she is featured at the Lightner Museum in an exhibition entitled Have Brush Will Travel. Join us at the Tour St. Augustine office at 4 Granada St. in downtown St. Augustine during First Friday Art Walk on September 1st, 2023 from 5PM to 8PM
